Brown Rice

Brown Rice is one of my absolute favorites. I literally eat here at least once a week for lunch. Located in Mount Vernon Marketplace in Baltimore, Brown Rice serves bibimbap, one of the most popular dishes in Korean cuisine. Bibimbap is a signature dish that translates to “mixed rice” in Korean. It’s served as a bowl of warm rice or kale topped with vegetables, a protein, and sauce. If you have the time to dine in, try yours in a hot stone bowl. The sizzling dish is topped with a fried egg and the hot bowl crisps the rice at the bottom to perfection. I like mine with bulgogi beef, onion, broccoli, green beans, kale, kimchi, and scallions. Then I top it all off with gochujang and spicy mayo.
