In my opinion, John's makes the best cheesesteak and the best fries in Baltimore, and maybe in the world. When I'm not in Philadelphia, I dress my cheesesteak with lettuce, tomato, grilled onions, and mayo. The fries are cooked to order, and come to you hot, with a crispy exterior and a perfectly pillowy interior. This Canton neighborhood institution hasn't changed much over the years, and that's how we like it.
